Singer Applicants - Application Instructions















 Application Form



To apply for the 2010 Season of Opera in the Ozarks at Inspiration Point please complete & print the application form below, complete the information on it, and submit it with the requested supporting materials. You may request a live audition or you may submit a CD, Video, or DVD by February 15, 2010. (Include an aria in English and an aria or art song in a foreign language.)

The Application Fee will be applied toward tuition for all singers accepted into the 2010 program. $100 of the Application Fee is refundable by request no later than May 1, 2010 for applicants not attending the OIO program. Once the application form and live-audition request and accompanying fees have been received, applicants will be notified of their audition time at the requested audition venue. Singers not participating in a live audition are required to also download the application form and send the application fee to the address listed below no later than February 15, 2010. Applicants will be sent notification of their acceptance for the 2009 season no later than March 30, 2010.

 Fee & Payment Schedule



 

There is a $125 fee for a live-audition. The live-audition is highly recommended. This fee must be sent with all audition requests whether that audition is a live audition or a CD, DVD, or VHS submission. If you are accepted for the 2010 Season you will receive notification via email.

Tuition for the 2010 season is: $3750. The tuition includes all master classes, movement classes, coaching in role preparation, language diction instruction, participation in stage productions and possible participation in the educational program performances and the opera scenes program. The tuition also covers accommodations and meals. Transportation to Opera in the Ozarks is the responsibility of participants. If you choose to fly, Fayetteville, Arkansas (Airport code is XNA) is the nearest airport. OIO will make arrangements to pick you up and transport you the OIO campus.

The $125 application fee and any work study or scholarship assistance will be applied toward tuition. The balance of the tuition will be due in May 2010. Make all checks payable to IPFAC. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
