You are invited to join the Opera Guild if you are interested in supporting the mission of Opera in the Ozarks (OIO), which provides a unique educational experience for young artists preparing for a career in opera.
You may become a member of the Opera Guild, wherever you live, for a modest annual membership fee of $10 per member.
The 2008 Opera Guild kickoff meeting was held Sunday, April 13th at 3:00 p.m. at the Crescent Hotel Conservatory in Eureka Springs. We were very fortunate to have the talented Leanne Scaggs. She is a University of Arkansas student and an alumna of the 2006 Opera company. She performed roles in Suor Angelica, Cendrillon, Medea and Barber of Seville.
Your membership will help fund annual OIO scholarships and Opera Guild projects. Opera Guild volunteers sponsor projects which support Opera in the Ozarks at Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony (IPFAC). Additional gifts from our members are always welcome.
